CAKEWOOD CREATIVE ARTS PRESENTS:
Fat Asteroid
The Cosmic Hit of the Year

But first, a friendly word of warning:

This book's author is a satirist, and so you have been warned.
WHY?
𖦹 Because satire was banned in London in the 16th century!
𖦹 Because FAT ASTEROID is a satire and also a novella. A novella? What's a novella? I've heard of a shovel but not a shovella.
𖦹 Because FAT ASTEROID is wise beyond its light years.
𖦹 Because we need to laugh at ourselves for a change
Otherworldly
Surreal
Bizarre
Allegorical
Controversial
Outrageous
Impressionistic
Abstract
Wacked!

Reviews
” Fat Asteroid is a disaster! But that’s only for those who thought it was going to be another sci-fi sequel for the masses. It reminds me of absolutely nothing and leaves me with the feeling of nostalgia for the bizarre near future. "
Ethan Park

“ A wild ride of a read for the dreamers and stargazers of the world who believe in a compassionate universe. ”
Maya Thompson
“ I thought I knew what an asteroid was before I read Fat Asteroid, but now I think it’s safe to say that the book’s otherworldly imagination outweighs any earthly knowledge of things like asteroids and humans. ”
Darius Coleman

Fat Asteroid Reveals
𖦹 The dinosaurs were given no second chance when their asteroid struck the earth sixty-six million years ago, but humanity’s second chance comes in the form of P.S. Lutz’s new satire, Fat Asteroid.
𖦹 The book takes a good, long look at the world culture through the same sort of telescopic lens used to determine whether there is life on other planets.
𖦹 With thin and fat as the newest shameless dividing lines in civilization, what is humanity to do but look to the stars for a celestial solution to a terrestrial problem.

About The Author
P.S. Lutz is an award-winning author of Mythic Comic Satire who dedicates his creative work to bridging distances between people and places far and wide.
His visionary approach to storytelling opens up uncommon worlds that allow for the imagination to flow and explore all human possibilities.
" I was always serious about satire, so much so that my parents wondered if anything could be done medically about the perpetual grin on my face or the interminable twinkle in my eye. "
" Being a satirist is like wearing rose-colored glasses in a thorny patch. "
" Winning recent awards for my writing (Lazuli Literary/Clay Reynolds) has done its part to interrupt otherwise anonymous acts of kindness. "
" Light is not the absence of darkness just as courage is not the absence of fear. ”

A Secret Love Letter from Author P.S. Lutz to Satire Itself:
Dear Satire,
Twenty-first Century greetings to you. Although I don’t wish to be the bearer of bad tidings, it is incumbent upon me as a devoted satirist of yours to tell you that this present era is not one that shows you much appreciation. It sounds laughable to say that, since every such era tends to be the one in which satire should be most welcome, if not most needful.
Was it 1599 when you were banned in London? What sort of magic and mischief were you up to then? If the world culture in 2026 knew you as I know you, likely its leaders would ban you all over again. My hope, however, is that those without divisive voice and ill-begotten power will crave your comic, incisive company as they imagine with you a better world, one where people care about things like words, beauty, decency, and equality.
I continue to hold the torch that you gave me when I was born. It came with a caveat: Don’t be discouraged when others aren’t as happy as you are. You have taught me to fight for the happiness of others. For that and for your levity in times of oppression, your insight in times of oblivion, and your timeless vision of a world at peace, I am ever in your debt.
Satirically yours,
P.S. Lutz
